PASStec Industrie-Elektronik GmbH was founded in 1990.
AAt the beginning the focus was set to the manufacturing of electronic modules. But soon the company started an own research and development department and so paved the way for a couple of own products. A set of new developments was the result. The created products focused mostly to key technologies in building automation.
The application of LON (Local Operating Network) is especially worth mentioning.
Most important power range is in the development and manufacturing of innovative components for the building automation with the LON bus system. These components regards to products like sensors (humidity, indoor climate, temperature,...) or control devices (room control,...).
Mean products are touch-panel with LON - TOUCHLON, multi sensor devices - SENSOLON, LON Gateway - LIMeX, DCF radio controlled clock - DCFLON,...
Own patents and utility models occupy the particularly innovative technology of PASStec.
Another spheres of action are customized developments
- software development of application programs in C, Visual Basic, SQL for MS-Windows.
- development of Microchip µProzessor based units in hard- and software.
- development of gateways, e.g. LON-Modbus, LON-RS232, LON-RS485 or DMX-RS232
Other interesting product developments are DMX or LON based lighting controls, e.g. operating by touch-panel for DMX controlled illumination, even devices for ventilation control with humidity measurements for permanent dehumidification in churches, museums etc.
